I fell off my bike as a car overtaking too close caused me to instinctively steer left and my bike fell to left throwing me onto the pavement. I suffered multiple bruises and large painful grazes to knees and elbows. My crash hat saved me from a serious head injury as my head hit wall beyond the narrow pavement.
