Glass Broken On One Side. Pigeons Nesting in Lantern.

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14215406.

The glass side panel is broken on this lantern, there are 2 pigeons nesting inside the lantern, and have been for several years now. The bottom glass is covered in detritus and gives no light down on to path or highway.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
