Deep Pothole/Uneven Pavement
Reported via iOS in the Pothole in a pavement category by Wall Action at 15:07, Tuesday 30 June 2026
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14214534.
This Pavement has recently been cleared so it has its full length. But that has also uncovered a Large Pothole that urgently needs filling in and sealing. Also the rest of Pavement not even and is bumpy to walk on which isn’t safe. The Pavement could do with a resurface so it it’s flat again SC.

Our response to a pothole report will depend upon several factors. These include the severity of the defect, how busy the road is and its proximity to other defects or hazards.
We have very limited resources and budget. At times of high demand- such as emergency storm situations- we may take longer to respond than we would prefer.
We are also mindful of other works planned for the road. This includes external contractors or utilities and our long term road renewal program.
Temporary repairs may be applied on very busy roads where special traffic management or further investigation may be needed or in an emergency situation. Repairs may be completed in stages, not all at once.
The road will continue to be regularly inspected as per our policy. If the pothole becomes an imminent danger, please call our customer call centre on 0345 678 9006, giving your report reference number, and the situation can be reassessed.
