Grass verges overgrown

The grass verges are ridiculous,they have been cut all the way along the main road either side from Smithers to the petrol station ,it’s getting to the point where there’s no where to walk our dog without walking right next to the main road as the path is getting to the point where we can no longer use it ,getting to the point where locals are taking into their own hands and cutting parts of the verges them selves ,what are we paying our council tax for if basic maintenance is being over looked making it unsafe
