Road saw scaring

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14212855.

After work was finished by workmen, they have left road saw scars across pavement. Also tarmac not a good finish. When we have bad weather this will cause the tarmac to break up. Not sure why it was left in this way. I am just a member of the public and can see this is not correct.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
