Road collapsing on edge of steep slope
Reported via mobile in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 12:49, Thursday 4 June 2026
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14212610.
The carriageway is collapsing, leaving a very big and dangerous area adjacent to a steep drop. This has been going on for years and reported numerous times but it has not been fixed. If a vehicle goes into this, it will fall down the slope & could end in a fatality. It needs to be fixed as a matter of urgency. Numerous potholes on the same road have been marked with white paint, for repair but nothing around this potential landslide.

I think the location for this msg be slightly wrong, on the map. It is on a right hand bend, coming from Ludlow direction, between North Farm & the Forestry Commission offices but clearly marked with 2 traffic cones.
The carriageway damage is getting worse.
Is there a scheduled date for the work to be carried out, please?
