Poor condition planters on public footpath
Reported via desktop in the Other highways issue category by Kate Adams at 14:22, Wednesday 27 May 2026
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14211925.
The planters adjacent to the steps outside Golden Moments Restaurant on Corve Street are in a poor state of disrepair and potentially dangerous. The planters containing actual plants were removed a long time ago. What remains are two concrete bases reinforced with steel protruding out from the top. The wooden surrounds have rotted into sections and fallen away from the concrete and are often lying loose on the pavement. (I have put them to one side on several occasions). At best these are unsightly making it look run down but they are also potentially a health and safety hazard for pedestrians.
