Grass not being cut
Reported via desktop in the Amenity grass issue category anonymously at 11:23, Wednesday 20 May 2026
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14211375.
The grass all along Havelock Crescent and surrounding areas is overgrown and makes the area look dreadful to people visiting and is creating very slippery areas post the rainfall under the trees.

The sign intimates Welcome to Much Wenlock, what a welcome if the grass a weeds grow any higher the signage will be covered. It’s now at the stage where the pathways are being taken over by weeds and no sign of anything being done. This doesn’t seem to be a problem only to Much Wenlock as going to surrounding villages I see the same problem. I can only assume this is due to cuts by the council due to there overspending on things only known to them because the pot holes and general upkeep of the Shropshire country side as gone to pot.
