Dangerous junction and surface

Reported via desktop in the Road markings or lines missing/ defective category anonymously at 14:37, Friday 15 May 2026

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14211003.

There is a mini roundabout at the bottom of Sherrymill Hill, which leads to the car park for Jubilee Park, as well as continuing on to Smallbrook Road. The roundabout is in poor condition and white paint is not visible enough. People do not slow down in order to honour the correct right of way. The speed of vehicles coming down from Sherrymill Hill or from Smallbrook Road is so dangerous, I have had so many close calls when turning into Waterside Close and when walking my children home from the park. This is also the starting point for the sandstone trail, which many walkers enjoy - it is only a matter of time before an ignorant/dangerous driver hurts someone. The surface needs repairing, road markings repainting and speed calming measures considered
