Series of deep potholes

There have been a series of deep potholes in this stretch of lane for the past 6 months which are getting progressively worse over time. As a result of driving along this lane from home to work weekly, both of my front coil springs have broken and I've experienced a burst tyre too. Even at slow speeds this stretch of lane is hazardous and needs fixing urgently. All other lanes in the area have had a new surface dressing by highways however this lane is always forgotten. Please fix it.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
