Verges obscuring view of road

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14210092.

The verges are getting too high to clearly see the road to leave my property on the very busy dual carriageway. Last year I had to cut this myself as it was dangerous to leave my property and it was left too long. It was very dangerous to cut with no PPE. I will send an invoice to the council if I have to do it again this year.

  • We have looked into this issue and can advise that the work required will be picked up as part of routine maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    We will continue to undertake routine inspections in the meantime, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action. This report will now be closed.
