Reported via desktop in the Tree/ grass/ shrub problem on a highway/ verge category by David Carter at 09:11, Sunday 3 May 2026
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14209894.
The hedge, which is on land owned by Shropshire Council, has overgrown to such a degree that it has now become a safety hazard for those leaving their driveways. Please review with urgency and cut back to a safe level.
PS: The hedge has been checked, and there are no birds nesting in that area.

Dear SC,
It is now 6 weeks since I raised the SAFETY issue of the council-owned overgrown hedge, and it has now got considerably worse. It is a serious risk to pedestrians and road users. Please respond!
