The retaining wall to the castle is showing signs of movement
Reported via mobile in the Retaining wall category anonymously at 07:23, Wednesday 20 May 2026
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14211359.
This crack now appears to be moving. The crack has been visible for a while, along with one further along the wall section, but there is now evidence of movement and potential future retaining wall failure.
The fact that the wall further down on the other side is leaning back towards the path is further evidence of ground movement.
