Build up of mud and grit on pavement by A road
Reported via Android in the Cultivating or planting on a verge category anonymously at 13:18, Wednesday 8 April 2026
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14207757.
The stretch of pavement from Doddington cattle grid eastwards has a 2-3 year build up of road grit and mud, particularly by the cattle grid but also below the church and along from there and in the gutter. We have attempted some cleaning in the past but with quarry lorries and vans etc passing at speed it is not safe. Council cleaning vehicles used to visit but don't seem to now. Please could the pavement and gutter be cleaned?
