Much more than a pothole

Reported via mobile in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 14:18, Sunday 5 April 2026

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14207492.

A long trough of water where the edge of the carriageway has fallen away. It has been there for several months and is getting worse by the day. Probably about 6 feet in length.

Its positioning on this single track carriageway makes it very difficult to avoid.

In places it's clearly several inches deep. (Hard to properly measure as filled with water). It has the potential to shred a tyre.
