Fly tipping rubbish bags

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14205924.

Approx 10 bin Bags of rubbish dumped at side of old canal on Berwick Road. Two in the water causing pollution and wildlife hazard. Appear to be a lot of plastic bottles, cans and other refuse. Appear to have been there some time.

  • One or two bags nearest the road have been removed, the rest are still on the bank and one is still in the water, pollution hazard still remains.

  • Still had not been completely cleared at the end of May. 80% still remaining...as per my previous update. I see some rubbish has been removed from Haughmond Hill today. Would have been a great opportunity to remove this stuff too. I'm away but our local whatsapp group mentioned the Haughmond incident.
