Farmers muck spreading beyond a joke

The local farmer has been pumping manure slurry from tankers into the field. This has not only caused blockage to a carer for an elderly woman (on several days) but has once more destroyed the lane. The drainage issue in this area has never been solved and now rather than water it is deep mud.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
