Ditch still blocked

Work was carried out to clear flooded ditch. However after just one night of rain they are completely full again. There has never been a drainage /blockage problem here in the past. There was some repair work done near this section about a year ago (full road opened up and work done to pipes beneath). Not sure if this has since caused the problem. First report marked as fixed, it clearly isn’t! As barriers have been left on site presumed work was still being carried out?

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
