Flood making road impassable

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14205319.

This road floods regularly, this is historic, but lately it seems to flood more easily than usual, despite the rain not being that heavy, also seem to take longer than usual to disperse, something is wrong.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
