Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14205283.

The Mirror keeps dropping making it difficult for resident to see drive out onto the road. Customer said it had been looked at before but keeps coming loose. Please can it be looked at again

  • Phone call from customer today to advise that the mirror that is used by both themselves and their neighbour as its a shared driveway - has sadly fallen from the wooden post completely. If this could be dealt with as soon as possible they would be very grateful as this mirror is relied upon heavily when getting off the drive, as the road they join is the B4378, which is the main road. Cars travel very fast from the right, and without the mirror they are having to pull out onto the road for visibility.

    This is now urgent as vehicle collisions are possible at the exit to the private driveway serving 27&28 Bourton. The recent installation of a pole and mirror although useful for our neighbour does not provide a solution to our problem at 27&28. The pole with mirror needs to be positioned below the point on the green tick at the corner of The Mill where an old timber pole is located ie on the verge directly to the left of the letter M on the map such that a driver looking across the road from the &27/28 concrete driveway obtains a view back towards the hill
