Reported via desktop in the Pothole in a road category anonymously at 14:29, Friday 13 March 2026

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14205273.

5.5 inch deep pothole near Soudley Park Farm TF9 2NR. This pothole was hit on 05/03/2026 and has caused damaged to the front passenger wheel and tyre of the vehicle. This was phoned in last week FMS 14204188 , but we did not have the correct location marked to be investigated so that case was closed. This is the correct location of the pothole. We have been advised that there are several deep potholes at the edge of the road in this location.

Can you please investigate and arrange for them to be fixed?

  • I was driving to work about 5.20 am,from home where I live, it was dark, an oncoming car approaching forced me to move over, I suddenly heard and felt a thud my car had hit a pothole, ! I was very stressed, being alone that time in the morning, immediately my car read low pressure on the screen, I phoned and reported it to the recovery AA, who told me I was priority, but it did seem a long time when the AA arrived, he took off, the damaged wheel and put another one, then we went to a garage to sort out the damaged wheel and tyre. I do have receipts for the wheel and tyre damage
