24" pothole with graduated recess causing serious harm to road vehicles

This pot hole has been reported by residents on numerous occasions and is in the middle of the carriageway along the right of lane driving towards Highley on the B4555. It will cause serious damage to someones right suspension or wheels if not rectified as soon as possible.

  • There has been considerable pot hole patching along this stretch for the last week, however, the biggest and nmost dangerous one in the centre of the carriageway has yet remained untouched. How can you prioritise smaller patching over this crater?

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
