Morning looking at the bridge yesterday I noticed how bad the deteriorating on some of the blocks,you can actually see daylight through the load bearing block has my pictures show,it’s only a matter of time before this gives way & a high chance that the parapit will give way,also could have all the drift wood that is lodged against the pillar has this is just getting bigger,many thanks dean

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
