Dangerous pothole

Deep and wide pothole affecting a substantial width of the carriageway. This is often hidden by standing water and will almost certainly cause significant damage should a vehicle hit it unawares. Poor workmanship last year has resulted in this now

  • Despite you responding on 18th March that you had arranged for the required work to take place, here we are on 7th June and this has not been done. The pothole is very big and deep and has the potential to cause very serious vehicle damage. Last week, 4th and 5th June, we had to use Hospital Lane as a diversion and negotiate around this large defect as Ash Road was closed due to works on the Ash Road, Ash Lane, Hospital Lane junction by Severn Trent. This is clearly not good enough and work needs to be carried out without delay.
