Zebra Crossing Issue

We have received a complaint from a member of the public about the zebra crossing on New Street " This morning due to the roadworks the crossing was cordoned off with no signage as to a safe crossing space and no ramps down and up for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Many people use this crossing and the older school children were confused and unsure of where best to cross also. Please can the contractor be ocntacted to install a temporary crossing with ramps
