Large deep pothole on roundabout

This pothole has been reported before and an extremely poor repair has also been carried out previously. It is back with a vengeance. The front right tyre on my car is destroyed and the wheel is damaged. The tyre will cost £125 to replace, I'm unsure how bad the damage is to the wheel. Please bump this up the priority list before before it does catastrophic damage to someone's car.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
