Large broken branch hanging in tree

Reported via mobile in the Tree/ grass/ shrub problem on a highway/ verge category by Stephen Bartell at 16:54, Sunday 1 March 2026

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14203617.

There is a large branch broken in a tree over hanging a unspecified road and stile that I have been informed is the responsibility of Shropshire Council by the leader of the volunteers for public right of ways footpaths . This is from the email Katherine sent me after I asked if her team could help :- Quote ' What I learned from SC is that it is not a path; it is technically an unregistered road and therefore the responsibility of SC highways department. ' unquote . It's probably hanging about 15 feet up and my guess would be 30 + kilos in weight . The unregistered Road runs up the side of Banks Farm House ( SY7 9DP) towards Pye Brook . Thank you in advance for your help in this matter . Regards Steve.
