Temporary Traffic Lights causing problems

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14203182.

The tempoaray lights at Upper Road are causing terrible traffic problems, They are cyclical and going to red every few minutes instead of the normal on demand crossing lights. Traffic is chaotic in both directions and now spilling over as far as Coleham Head/Hereford Road as people try and bypass it. The contractor needs to get someone there and manually control it. I appreciate that's costly but what about the many costs related to queues of traffic everywhere?
