Road surface washed away

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14202572.

There is a stretch of over 300 yards where the road has been washed away with serious potholes left between lower Mount and upper Mount farm. This area is known as the Mount Bank with a stream the bottom of the bank This problem was reported over 12 months ago and nothing has ever been done and the issue is getting much worse this year after the harsh winter we’ve had Thank you

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
