Flooding

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14202372.

I have recently sent a message to Fix My Street but I am including a photo that has been taken today of the flood. I have been unable to find my previous ref numbers. This happens every time it rains and now it is the biggest it has been. It also makes it in possible to walk to a nearby farm. A lorry company has been coming to deliver silage to the farm for several months and has problems going through it as they have a lot of electrics under the lorry that could give them a problem with water touching them and stalling the lorry and unable to move. Would it be possible to ask if something could be done as cars/vans etc also drive very fast down this little lane and then get problems with going through the flood. Thank you for your help.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
