This erosion is making it impossible to drive up the road, there is nowhere to drive to avoid it

    These long stretches of road erosion have NOT been addressed at all I can’t understand how it’s been marked as complete. Photos attached are from the weekend. People are now driving up the verge to avoid these parts of the road. This section is before you get to the lay-by.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
