Road surface almost caused a crash.
Reported via mobile in the Loose chippings/ debris in the road category anonymously at 11:07, Friday 20 February 2026
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14201944.
The road surface is covered in compacted leaf mulch and pot holes, causing an ‘ice like’ surface in wet conditions. This surface caused me to almost crash into an oncoming vehicle. If I wasn’t crawling down the hill there would’ve certainly been an accident, and this was in a 4x4.
It desperately needs a road sweeper on it and then to assess the road surface damage
