There are large and deep potholes in this stretch of Mardu Lane making driving very difficult for local people and guests visiting Offers Pitch Glamping. Several of these potholes are large up to 900mm x 500mm and over 120 mm deep. There is also a section of the lane where the road surface is cracked and crazed allowing water to lie and ingress. This part of the Mardu Lane is frequently used by visitors from UK and abroad to the local glamping site and several have had tyre punctures. Many have commented negatively on social media about the poor state of the single track roads in this part of Shropshire as a result.
