There is a "New 30 mph" speed limit at this point but THERE ARE NO (NONE, ZERO, ZILCH) 30 mph speed limit signs any where on this stretch of road in either direction.

No speed limit signs on this length of road means that vehicles are still doing 40 + mph as they pass the Rose and Crown Pub up to the Texaco Garage. I am in danger of being wiped out by speeding vehicles, inc hgv's and tractors when trying to emerge from my home.
