Significant blocked road drain causing depth of water too deep for some vehicles

A blocked road drain which has been reported in other seasons has led to significant depth of water on the highway in two places. This is making vehicle access to property very difficult.( Alternative access is often blocked, as it is now, by recurrent river flooding.) Road drain is completely blocked, no movement of water in road drain lower down, as seen and heard through road drain grid.) This is a comparatively new problem caused by the failure to unblock the road drain- postal driver of two decades to this locality said he had never experienced it here before. Essential access becoming impossible.
