Blocked drain - road becoming impassable

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14199389.

This is where the road drain, that is completely blocked, has a grid. In every season, no water is visible through the grid. Water should be flowing beneath the road downhill and it has been reported several times in the last few years that the road drain it is not flowing. The consequence is that water accumulates on the road higher up and is becoming impassable. This is significant because the other exit of the road is already blocked by seasonal river flooding. The issue being reported is NOT the river flooding but a road drain that is not working and causing accumulation of water where for living memory, seventy years there was never a problem.
