School lay-by deteriorated

The lay-by has been slowly deteriorating over the past couple of years and it’s now at the point that vehicle are parking hanging over into the road

Damages tyres and wheels trying to park in it. Starting to affect actual carriageway and will be a larger repair if left.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
