Report received from member of the public "Following recent power outage along Tilley rd. In order to undertake the repair the road in the village from Wem had to be closed as the hedge on the left hand side of the road going into Tilley was so overgrown the road width is restricted and doesn't currently permit two way traffic at this point. .

Please can you contact the landowner to arrange for the hedge to be cut back

  • The site was inspected by the local highway Technician on 06/02/2026. It was considered that there was minimal obstruction to highway users caused by overgrown vegetation so no action is required at this time.
