Streetlight number 3 outside 23 and 25 Talbot Street, Whitchurch SY13 1PU -- This has been out for about a year and has caused vandalism to cars and danger to people walking along the road at night as they are not able to see.

Can you please mark it as an urgent request to be fixed?

  • We have ordered works to remedy the issue. If further works are needed, the issue is likely to take longer to resolve.

  • We have been out to the site and found a fault with the electricity network provider. They have been notified;
    the turnaround time to resolve these problems are usually within 25 working days. Please note that we do not have control or influence over their works program.

    We will update you further in due course.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
