1 meter pothole at junction of footpath and Woodlands Road.

Reported via desktop in the Pothole in a road category by Martin Roden at 13:20, Wednesday 21 January 2026

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14195500.

Rapidly expanding footpath pothole into the tarmac surface of Woodlands Rd adjacent to our house (The Barn TF12 5QB please see map). The previously shallow footpath pothole has over the past month rapidly deepened and extended probably due to recent rains and an increase in vehicles using the footpath to turn around. My main concern is the speed that the road is eroding however it is a trip and splash hazard to pedestrians. I would be happy to make repairs to this pothole once inspected and council permission given.
