Potholes and exposed ironworks/drain

Reported via mobile in the Pothole in a road category anonymously at 19:22, Tuesday 20 January 2026

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14195380.

On both approaches to the bridge (Broseley side and Coalport side) there are large potholes. Broseley side also seems to be frequently flooded which may indicate a blocked drain issue also. On the Coalport side of the bridge, the surface tarmac has eroded around the ironworks of a drain which is now sitting proud of the surface and there is potential risk of damaging tyres. Not easily avoided due to the height and width restriction barriers.
