Dangerous 1M x 0.5M x 15CM Pothole
Reported via desktop in the Pothole in a road category anonymously at 13:31, Tuesday 20 January 2026
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14195310.
Following the recent removal of flood water, a significant and hazardous pothole has been exposed. The defect measures approximately 1 metre in length, 0.5 metre in width, and around 15 centimetres in depth. It is located within a noticeably sunken section of the carriageway, suggesting a possible collapse of an underlying drainpipe.
Given that this stretch of road has a 60mph speed limit, the pothole poses a substantial risk to motorists and has the potential to cause serious vehicle damage or loss of control. Prompt inspection and repair would be highly advisable to ensure public safety.
