Surface water not able to drain away.

Reported via mobile in the Standing water on the highway category by Rebecca Round at 23:20, Monday 19 January 2026

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14195203.

This problem has been previously reported & today 18/1/26 @ 13.03pm emailed to say it had been fixed. These photos have been taken 18/1/26 @10pm & clearly it’s not been fixed. The stretch of road outside No 4 is lower than the resurfaced stretches either side of it, therefore it cannot drain away. This is creating a large area of surface water to collect & stopping us, as the residents using our front gate. The traffic that passes on the main road engulfs us with water. The water is causing damp & frost issues to the bricks on our newly built wall. The pavement collects puddles & debris that is splashed up so makes it hard to use the pavement. The water has to evaporate of the issue to go away & with current weather this is taking days if at all! As the resident I am more than happy to meet with someone to show the exact location & problem so that a actual fix can be done & we can go back to using our path to exit our property.
