Pot hole is now almost across the whole road

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14194871.

This pothole is increasing hourly, the road surface is being eroded in large pieces everytime a vehicle goes over it. There is also a smaller hole appeared on the opposite edge so when you drive you hit 2 at the same time. The lights and cones are no longer covering the damaged road. This is going to cause an awful lot of damage to many vehicles.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
