Deep flooded pothole in the roadworks

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14194813.

I just burst my tyre on this pothole - I couldn’t see it filled with water in the dark. You struggle to miss it as it is in the single carriage section of the roadworks, so it can get you both ways.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
