Drain blocked
Reported via desktop in the Drain blocked category anonymously at 11:01, Friday 16 January 2026
Sent to Shropshire Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 14194628.
This drain is blocked and has been for a long time. This drain needs to be unblocked as soon as possible. This is causing water to run onto the road where it can't go down the drain. There is also a lot of debris from the drain that needs to be removed. Please could this be cleared as a matter of urgency.

Visit to Shropshire Local office today, to advise that with the recent rainfall and the blocked drain this has flooded onto the road, and sadly the road its all broken up now, as a result of this flooding. Customer and nearby neighbour have used rods and unblocked one of the drains, but sadly the other one, is very deep down and they have not been able to unblock this one. This desperately needs attention as the road is in need of repair please can contact be made with customer as this issue has gone on for many years now and it has been confirmed that SC are responsible for the drain as they are the land owners.

I can see that this has been set to action scheduled - please can contact be made to advise when this work will be carried out please. The issue with flooding is ongoing and causes issues for all road users. Due to the flooding this has caused potholes all along this road and they are getting worse all the time - so this will also need addressing when the works are carried out.
