Road surface is breaking up
Reported via mobile in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 14:40, Tuesday 13 January 2026
Sent to Shropshire Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 14194074.
This is one of the main access roads into Withington, large vehicles, lorries & agricultural rigs use that lane & it's breakup up and has a large deepening pot hole in the section marked. It's dangerous for cyclists especially as rain fills the holes making them less visible. The pot hole repair work undertaken in the summer has broken up and this has been bad for over 2 months now.

This pot hole is now double the size when reported & at least 15 -20 cm deep, right in the driving line on a very narrow lane. All local pot holes have white lines around them apart from these, worried they are not going to be repaired again.
