Highway drainage issues caused by blocked ditches

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14193438.

Highway flooded continuously during winter months due to unmaintained ditches that may belong to farms on either side of the road but have not been maintained in at least the last 15 years This standing water has already caused a major crater!! In the road ie 1.25 m x 1m x 0.3m deep which the council has repaired a simple letter to the adjacent farms requesting some ditch management/maintenance could stop more expensive highway maintenance being required in the near future
