Missing/stolen grit bin

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14192918.

Please can the local authority advise on why they have deemed it suitable to remove the grit bin that was located at the top of a very steep incline? Given the incredibly treacherous conditions over the last five days to find the grit bin missing/stolen was somewhat bemusing to say the very least. I work for the local Electricity Company and require continuous safe access and egress at all times of day and night due to standby rotas. Whilst I am fortunate to have a four wheel drive truck, for work purposes, some of my other neighbours do not. Please replace or bring our grit bin back, to its original location, as soon as possible. The weather forecast shows considerably more snow imminently.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.
