Lack of drainage

Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category by Dr Peter Barling at 15:22, Tue 30 December 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14191870.

The water runs off the land onto the road which becomes a river when it rains, because there is no drain to carry the water away.A simple problem which has been the case for twenty years. The result is that because the water has not been drained ,it has now destroyed the road surface. Some timely maintenance would have been a lot cheaper to carry out than rebuilding the road which is now what it needs.Someone is responsible for this failure and they should be held accountable.
